FIT
From the idea of a “fit check”—the gear and apparel you choose to put on.
OUR STORY
Not just gear that looks good.
Gear that works for you.THE NAME
The name is simple. It represents the gear you wear and the standard every FITWORKS product has to meet.
From the idea of a “fit check”—the gear and apparel you choose to put on.
The standard we hold that gear to. Functional, intentional and genuinely useful.
Gear that works for you. That’s the standard.
FOUNDER STORY
Climbing since 2017. Building the gear I kept wishing existed with the people who use it.
THE BEGINNING
I started climbing in 2017, but the idea behind FITWORKS came much later while I was breaking in a new pair of La Sportiva Skwamas.
Like many climbers, I used the thin plastics that came in the shoebox to help me break into them. The problem came when I took the shoes off: walking around the gym left a trail of disgusting wet footprints behind me.
It was gross. So I started wearing socks to climb... and I have never gone back.
I tried random socks from online and they solved the wet footprints. But before long, they created a different problem.
THE EXPERIMENT
Normal socks were never designed to stay secure inside tight climbing shoes. As the elastic wore out, the heel would slip and the fabric would bunch in the shoes, causing pressure points.
I tried different socks and even applied anti-slip gel inside the heel, thinking more friction would keep everything in place. It did the opposite. The gel clung to my heel and pulled the sock down instead.
That failed experiment changed the way I approached the problem. The sock did not need more grip, it needed to stay secure as a whole.
That led me to compression socks and, eventually, a manufacturer in Taiwan that specialised in them. From there, I began adapting the idea around what climbers actually need: a thin construction, breathable mesh, moisture-managing materials and compression that feels secure without becoming impossible to stretch.
THE LEAP
For almost two years, FITWORKS existed mostly as an idea. I wanted to build something of my own, but spending even a few hundred dollars on samples made the risk feel real.
Eventually, I decided to stop waiting until I felt completely ready and take the first step.
More than 20 pairs of samples followed. Each one helped refine the balance between compression, stretch, thickness and breathability until I had a sock I was prepared to put the FITWORKS name on.
Then came the bigger leap: a first production run of 500 pairs. I had no real experience marketing or selling a product, but I believed the socks deserved a chance.
Over the next two years, climbers bought all 500 pairs! And they told me what the next version could do better.
THE WAY FORWARD
The first release proved that the idea worked. More importantly, it gave me real feedback from the people climbing in the socks.
That feedback became the foundation of FITWORKS Compression Socks MK2. It also shaped how I want every future FITWORKS product to be developed: not just by me, but together with the people who will actually use it.
The goal is to remove the small points of friction throughout the climbing experience—whether that means keeping a sock secure inside your shoe or making your gear quicker and easier to pack.
There will be more products, but I am not interested in rushing them out. Every product deserves the time, testing and feedback required to make each detail count.
FITWORKS will grow. One functional product at a time.
THE FITWORKS COMMUNITY
I can design the starting point, but the people using the gear are the ones who help make it better.
The FITWORKS Community is where I interact directly with you guys, listen to honest feedback and share what I am working on before everyone else sees it.
Tell me what works, what does not and where a product could be better.
Have a say in the practical details and features that go into future FITWORKS gear.
Vote on colours, see early concepts and help decide what gets made next.

WHAT COMES NEXT
FITWORKS started with a climbing sock. The goal is bigger: functional gear and apparel that remove friction from every part of the climbing routine—each one tested, refined and released only when it is ready.
SOCKS FIRST.
THE VAULT NEXT.
MORE TO COME.
The next product is already taking shape. Come build it with us.
